Pros
You get "catered" lunch on Fridays which is pizza. The view in the office is also nice.
Cons
If you work part-time as a Client Success Specialist you won't be calling any new leads. Most of the time I was calling leads more than a year old, sometimes up to 3 years. They expect you to set a certain amount of appointments but they never give you an exact number so you're basically flying blind and hoping for the best. I was never given any direction or advice on my performance or how I could improve, showcasing their lack of transparency and poor managerial styles. When you start, you're only able to call clients. No email. No texting. You have to "earn" the right to reach out to clients through multiple avenues which seems counterintuitive. Most people don't want to talk on the phone so it only makes sense to let the reps call, email and text potential clients from day 1. Client Success Reps are the first point of contact and vital for growing a business but the lack of effort management put into making sure we could succeed and grow, and ultimately do our jobs well made it seem like they didn't care. Finally, attrition was also high. In the short time I was there I saw people leave and just not show up again. If you want to work in an environment where you feel like you're part of a team and can grow professionally, I would steer clear of SunLux.
