Pros

On the surface everyone is extremely nice and helpful. Employees get to bring their dogs to work, every week they supply breakfast on wednesday, often times lunch is provided, and they keep a fridge stocked full of beer. No matter where you start at this company, you have to go through the sales support specialist role which is high volume, fast paced custom sales. They provide basic training and a suggested time blocking break down but organization is fully on you.

Cons

You'll go unnoticed unless you go above and beyond your job title. Most people here have an out of work relationship and if you want to grow with the company, you'll need to combine your work and personal life. I was staying afloat and socializing until suddenly my grandmother became very ill (I was also her full-time caretaker) She suddenly then passed away on a thursday, I took friday off to be with my family and come monday I got a call that I no longer had a job with sunrise. Over the 5 months that I was with sunrise identity I saw several people leave suddenly without much explanation. Clearly people are disposable to this company even with the surface appearance of a family, friendly atmosphere. Don't let the smiles, the dogs, the beer and the food cloud your judgement. I'm extremely disappointed in he lack of respect they had for me and the outcome.

Chaotic work environment with very little support from management

Pros

dog-friendly office, free snacks and occasional happy hour in the kitchen.

Cons

Leadership is currently in turmoil and looking at restructuring the organization. Rapid growth the last several years is requiring new processes...but existing longtime employees are tasked with this job. Lots of meeting to discuss change, then nothing happens - because everyone is too busy to follow through.

Tremendously Unprofessional

Pros

There are dogs in the office.

Cons

It is an absolute wonder anything gets done at all! Most of my department spent the day on Buzzfeed and Facebook or on a private chat talking about everyone else in the office. The systems are archaic and manual and the company is reluctant to change. After being "trained" I was finally "allowed" to hit the ground running with my client. This proved to be more difficult than anticipated due to a long history of mismanagement which I spent the next couple of months attempting to rectify. When I finally achieved some semblance of order with the client I was rewarded by being laid off due to budget constraints. Seems a fitting way to reward an employee for improving efficiency, right? This company was a complete waste of my time and talents and I have never been more frustrated with an employer.
