Pros

Ample time to learn for beginners. Management does care about the learning curve of employees. Great job security. Hours not long. Work life balance is achievable.

Cons

Insufficient cooperation from different departments. Slight cracking down of management structure. Separating HQ geographically makes communication harder than it should.

Pros

- Minimal Supervision - Get to be involved in a wide variety of different projects and different aspects of every project

Cons

- No sense of direction - Work around the clock due to the need to match international hours - necessary to manage and keep constant communication with Chinese teams. - No local help due to the lack of staff and director flying out half of the year, everything falls on one person's shoulder - While it is contract work and have minimal supervision, work is tracked daily and micro managed - Contradictory work style as freedom is "given" to pick and choose what/how a task is completed; However, challenged and yelled at upon completion for not choosing what the director thinks is the best choice - Low paying with respect to responsibilities required - Low pay restricts new hires to staff with limited capabilities, while talented individuals move on - No culture, unless you think working around the clock is culture
