Pros
I've been at SBL for almost 2 years. In those two years, I had MAJOR health issues, lost my father, multiple long hospitalizations. I was scared because previous companies I worked for had fired people because of their health. But not SBL, the worked with me on the time I needed off for FMLA, welcomed me back each time I had been out with a smile.
They offer a lot of flexibility in scheduling too. You can choose your schedule based on some guidelines. You can even choose condensed work weeks and have an extra full or half day off weekly.
Pay is fair and commensurate with experience. They offer raises yearly based on performance.
The culture is fun, HR provides a lot of fun and engaging activities throughout the year including giveaways, Monthly catered lunches, a monthly treat delivered (think brownies, cookies, donuts, etc.)
I'm happier here than any other place I've worked in the past. As with every company, there are the things here and there that can be frustrating or challenging but overall, SBL is an excellent place to work. Shout out to Angie & Meagan for all they do in HR>
Cons
My commute, but that has nothing to do with the job
