Pros

- It has a good name on the market - They create truly amazing products and solutions - Seniors have a big knowledge and experience so you can learn from them (if you are lucky enough to get on a project with a senior)

Cons

- People became leaders because they are at the company for the longest time, not because of leadership skills - 1on1s are just a formality, your problems usually never get solved - resource management is a joke: you are either drowning in projects and tasks or barely have anything to do for weeks (or months)... there is no in between - they are very proud of their company culture which is basically drinking and partying, free fruit and almond milk and beer tap in the office, nothing that would really make a difference - seniors are praised like gods, so if you want good/interesting projects be a senior or be in a very good relationship with one - they don't treat their soon-to-be-ex-employees right, you are only valued until they/you decide to leave the company, but they should know better: off-boarding is still part of user/customer/employee experience - in the last few years they expanded the team like crazy and it shows, I feel like they have lost control - more and more people are leaving: 4-5 senior product strategists left in the last year - in the afternoon the office starts to smell like gyros which can be really disturbing and the temperature of the office is unpredictable: you are either freezing or terribly hot I really think there are better-paying, more fair companies who will treat you much better!

Hey there! 👋🏽 Thanks for sharing your opinion we always look out for ways we can improve. We would also like to reflect on some of the remarks: Promoting from the inside: Yes, we absolutely believe in in-house promotion over hiring for leadership roles from the market. We prefer nurturing leadership talent within our teams. If you feel that your lead lacks some skills, and you have different platforms to raise these, please go ahead. Problem-solving: we’re proud to have a strong People Operations team that deeply understands all current issues, and action plans on how to solve these. So please make sure you share your specific problem in the appropriate channel. Resource management: we always try to match everyone with a project that is the best fit for their current skills and ambitions, but of course, it's not always a perfect match. Our culture: You listed one aspect of our culture, which is community. And yes, we like to build our community in a fun way, and fun for us contains parties, game nights, family days, movie nights and occasional drinks.. But we like it that way! :) The other parts of our culture, Feedback Culture, Learning culture you didn’t touch on.. But maybe worth discovering! All in all thanks for the feedback, but as you are currently one of our employees, I truly advise you to talk to your Line Manager or Domain Lead, we can definitely sort things out, as we always do. Kind regards, Lilla Lassu, CPO

Pros

I appreciate how they/we prioritize the well-being of individuals in the company. Our employees aren't just assets; they're human beings whose off-job needs are also considered and often met. They/we are very flexible and adaptable if you face personal life problems or when your situation changes. I feel like I'm part of a friendly, caring, and inspiring community, where I can be who I aspire to be in my professional career. I receive support whenever I seek it. I also appreciate the conference sponsorship program that covers all expenses during a conference visit. I have used it multiple times to attend conferences. I would also mention the diversity of the projects, so one would never get bored with the same kind of challenges. The entire package, including perks, benefits, and the community, is top-notch!

Cons

The office infrastructure consistently falls short of expectations. It's not entirely within our control; mostly, it's the facility owner who responds slowly, and the repairs aren't always of high quality. While the office appears pleasant and the renovation plans were well-conceived, the quality of the results is questionable in places. Small issues frequently disrupt daily work, such as unexpected lack of hot water in the shower or loud construction noises from the neighbouring units.
