There are quite a few... 1) The CEO, Mark Smith, shielded his clear inabilities with silence, almost never understanding the status of development or relationships with customers 2) Mark touted his experience and ability to fundraise but when the pressure was on he utterly failed, leaving dozens of intelligent employees without jobs in an awful job market 3) The company over hired, especially at the executive, director, and management level. All of whom never laid a finger on the code or contributed anything worth the massive salaries they were receiving. 4) The CTO posted memes in slack all day 5) In the months leading up to the lay off of ~80% of the company, our payroll was delayed and we were consistently given false hopes about funding issues being resolved "in a few days"
