Although there are many caring staff at times, high turnover can greatly impact ones experience. Strong authoritarian approach to perceived/contrived concerns. Mission, values, and purpose are lost with this approach. Reluctance to address knowledge and skill deficits will only mean this continues into the future. Intimidation efforts will not make me misguide you. Especially if you have an invisible disability, or have diversity as a part of your identity; please have supports in place to make sure that if you enter this space, you will be okay no matter what. Board members who "direct" opporations include Management employees. Positive Facebook reviews that boost rating reference receiving payment for "trading"?? Many of the positive reviews on here that boost rating are family/friends/former clients/give gifts to Upper Management which exceed Policy outlined limits and are now paid staff.... A lot of potential conflict of interest going on. This is not to say you cannot get access to valuable resources here, just be very mindful in doing so. Stigmatizing comments and behaviors can impact people differently. Continuing to access supports here dictates continued funding, so have your needs heard and met!
