Pros
Good work life balance, no work stress, Colleagues are friendly and nice. There is great diversity and inclusion in the company.
Cons
The company is small in size, there is no defined system for any process, and from my personal experience, they know nothing about professionalism or management. I was hired for a junior position as PV manager, they offered me the lowest possible salary (36 K gross annually) as I had no previous experience, and I accepted it to focus on learning more. However, by working in PV department, your manager will expect you to act as a senior one. They wil be super busy and will have no time or energy to teach you anything. They won't guide, direct or monitor you. They wont be able to communicate properly regarding work AT All. they even will not give you a clear task to do or even instructions for it, and then will accuse you of being slow. It is very normal not to have a proper onboarding/training as a junior or even to shadow anyone to learn. It is very normal that you spend hours trying to figure out what they are asking for or how to do it (a task you first hear about). While working in PV department, expect to hear - literally - from your manager phrases like: 1- I am busy and do not have time to show you/teach you 2- what the hell you are doing in this job 3- the questions you are asking makes me unassure that you can do the job. (about a task you first hear of) 3- I just want someone to take off the work load from me I do nt have time to teach you. And even when you try to arrange 1:1 with them to share feedback, it will be the most disappointing meeting, they won't say any thing useful, they won't listen and won't give you any proper feedback. And when the higher management allocates a whole session to encourage you to share feedback and talk about how much they are open to it, and you unfortunately trust them and bring your concerns about your manager to them, instead of taking any action or trying to handle the issue, they will just not bother and fire you two weeks later. (out of sudden, by an email, without giving any reasons and without replying to you anymore) Don't be dragged into their trap, they don't actually listen or care about their employees. Apart from my personal experience, they make you pay for your business trips, (expect to pay 300+ euros at least from your low salary) every two months.
