      Pros

      Good understanding of work-life balance, flexible hours, can work from home (sometimes). Good for those who like autonomy.

      Cons

      Very little focus on people management. Senior managers can often be with little understanding of how to motivate and lead their people, what their strengths are and how to harness them, how to engage the employees to work in alignment with the company vision, etc.
