Pros

Coworkers and other properties work together. Can always count on your team at the property level.

Cons

Underpaid compared to a lot of other companies, underappreciated, corporate makes it seem like you can call them and when you do you get shut down. Regional makes decisions based on how their day is going. Not super professional.

Pros

Reliable schedule, not too difficult in terms of balancing work-life issues. Benefits, good location in the Loop. Co workers were easy to get along with.

Cons

Communication is not a priority with support staff, lack of integrity or innovation. No loyalty no matter what they tell you. Maintenance on old buildings usually a band aid for major issues. Most of the properties are over 70 years old.

Pros

Started out great but didn’t last

Cons

No rent discount Lower commissions compared to anyone in area You will hear a lot of gossip and made up stories and you can try to ignore it but you will be then added to stories later in and possibly reprimanded on he said she said. Won’t focus on leasing and move ins or property problems will focus on tracking teams conversations with peers, your emails, listening to your calls trying to find anything wrong or you left out. Will verbally yell at you if you messed up will talk to you like you’re a child dispute how long you’ve been in business and age. This is coming from corporate btw. Starting wage for leasing with experience in Chicago is $24 will hire you for less if they can
