Pros

-I've got to sit in rooms and positions that would have taken another 5-10 years at other companies. -Ask a colleague for help, they'll always carve out time to go through things. Not competing amongst each other. -Constantly working on what would be deemed career defining projects for other people. -We have a host of 20-30 year veterans at our disposal to learn from their experience. -Hard work is rewarded with good salaries and meaningful bonuses -We do not tolerate poor performance, there is no dead wood.

Cons

-Nature of our work means we often get parachuted into client projects once they're already in trouble, can be demanding. -Sometimes despite our best efforts, projects overlap and deadlines often can't move.

Pros

Pay was above average for a role like this.

Cons

I had a very bad experience working at TMX Transform in the UK team. From the beginning, there was no proper onboarding or training period. I was expected to hit the ground running after only a few days, with an increasingly heavy and demanding workload. Despite asking for training, I was told there was no time, which made it extremely difficult to perform effectively. In all my previous roles, the companies I worked for always provided at least two weeks for inductions and training. Unfortunately, TMX did not offer this basic support, making it hard to settle in or succeed. The Senior Consultant I worked with acted like a direct manager, despite not being one, and was rude on a regular basis and talked down to me. This created a toxic working environment that left me feeling constantly stressed, with a poor work-life balance. After only a couple of months, I made the difficult decision to resign, something I have never done in 25 years of professional experience. I cannot recommend TMX based on the experience I had. It is an awful company to work for.

Pros

There is nothing positive about this company.

Cons

Working at TMX Transform was the most disappointing professional experience I’ve had. While the contract states an 8-hour workday, the reality often meant working 10–12 hours daily, frequently at inconvenient times due to timezone mismatches. There is no sense of work-life balance — long hours are expected and normalized. The company culture is deeply toxic. Collaboration is virtually nonexistent, with individuals more focused on self-preservation than true teamwork. There are too many middle managers whose primary function seems to be micromanagement and holding endless, unproductive meetings. Professional growth is almost non-existent. There’s no structured development plan, no mentorship, and no real opportunity to learn or advance your skills. Interactions between colleagues are transactional at best, the environment feels cold, mechanical, and devoid of genuine human connection. It’s a culture driven more by profit than purpose. If you’re considering a role here, I strongly advise you to reconsider. The high turnover rate among UK staff speaks for itself , and I wouldn’t wish the experience I had on anyone.
