Pros

The individual contributors are exceptional, bringing strong drive and passion while being a pleasure to work with. I built lasting friendships and am grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with such talented people. The company also offers a good number of holidays, which you will need!

Cons

I waited to submit this review because I needed distance from the experience. Since leaving, there has been continued turnover and repeated leadership changes. Based on conversations with former colleagues, very little has improved, which is important for prospective candidates to understand. If you need a job, take it, but do not get too excited and keep looking. This is not a place where strong talent stays. Leadership changes frequently, priorities shift as soon as the Founder's mood changes, and there is a pattern of rewarding alignment over accountability. The culture feels centered on survival rather than long term growth. Layoffs are a constant concern, creating ongoing instability and stress across teams. During my time there, compensation plans changed frequently (every single quarter) and almost always communicated well after the earning period had already started. In some cases, employees were told not to reference signed compensation plans when discrepancies were raised, and expected earnings were revised after the fact. This after it was signed both by Transfr and the employee. This creates a serious lack of trust in how compensation is handled. The product concept is interesting, but execution and customer adoption are challenging. The sales approach often feels transactional rather than consultative, which can lead to poor long term outcomes for both customers and employees. Sales are not to solve a customer problem, but a Transfr problem: attempting to take them for every dollar the customer can spend even if the customer needs a quarter of what is being sold to them. Workloads are heavy, expectations are high, and job security is uncertain. Many of the concerns reflected in other reviews are accurate and consistent with my experience. It is also worth noting that there have been periods where employees were pressured to submit positive reviews: Notice the little surges of positive comments and how they come in a small time frame from all current employees.. it is obvious, so don't believe the hype.

Monthly reorgs or layoffs

Pros

Product had some interesting potential

Cons

Just by the numbers, the company has reorgs and layoff rounds every 1 or 2 months. Leadership is replaced constantly, ones that are responsible for real company success. The newest flavor of leaders are newcomers from Discovery with no demonstrated impact. There's a cold sort of treatment that extends down to the customers.

Pros

Some good people and collaboration

Cons

A lot. Most of the cons in the reviews are true- believe them.
