Pros

- Extremely relaxed - Beautiful Work Campus - Opportunity to work with loads of technology stacks

Cons

- Best practices not followed - Very poor salary - Non-existant benefits - Vindictive higher management - State of the company repeatedly misrepresented - A lot of older staff with permanent public sector contracts do very little and graduates are left to their own devices to deliver a project.

Pros

A good environment to build a good skill-set of different technologies.

Cons

Heavy workload and no clear direction. New projects change frequently and are purely reactive to bring in income.

Pros

- Very relaxed environment - CEO is very supportive and friendly - Very nice surrounding area with some scenic walks - Very relaxed lunch times (Can take up to an hour, and is okay if you go slightly over) - Some staff are very friendly - Canteen staff are very friendly

Cons

- As this is a researched based company, very little products come to fruition - People are not generally held accountable for their work. (You can go days without doing anything). - Proper coding standards are not followed - Senior staff ability is not the highest as they have progressed through a system that uses poor coding standards. - Proper code reviews and proper SCRUM meetings are not held. - Very poor leadership by senior staff - Salary is extremely poor. - High turn over as the company loses a lot of staff to other companies in the building that can offer far greater wages - Silo culture. You will not learn the names of about 75% of people you work with - Blame culture. Team leads are quick to blame others when things go wrong - Poor opportunity for career progression as you do not develop much due to being forced to follow such bad practices. - More time is attributed to holding meetings to discuss projects rather than working on said projects. - Some staff are extremely ignorant. - The canteen food is quite poor.
