- As this is a researched based company, very little products come to fruition
- People are not generally held accountable for their work. (You can go days without doing anything).
- Proper coding standards are not followed
- Senior staff ability is not the highest as they have progressed through a system that uses poor coding standards.
- Proper code reviews and proper SCRUM meetings are not held.
- Very poor leadership by senior staff
- Salary is extremely poor.
- High turn over as the company loses a lot of staff to other companies in the building that can offer far greater wages
- Silo culture. You will not learn the names of about 75% of people you work with
- Blame culture. Team leads are quick to blame others when things go wrong
- Poor opportunity for career progression as you do not develop much due to being forced to follow such bad practices.
- More time is attributed to holding meetings to discuss projects rather than working on said projects.
- Some staff are extremely ignorant.
- The canteen food is quite poor.
