Pros

Small company, some mobility within company and you can get a lot of experience and build a portfolio fast. Some fun entertainment clients. Good perks -- holiday celebrations, summer Fridays, team outings, snacks, etc. Dog-friendly office, relaxed atmosphere, family feeling. Great 401K matching, OK health insurance. Approachable upper management

Cons

Poor communication among leadership. Stingy with raises Some departments have leaders that care and will advocate for their team, others do not. High turnover with producers -- the good ones get extra work dumped on them, and the bad ones (having had their work given to the good ones) enjoy 2-hour lunches. So the good ones leave and the bad ones stay. Tendency to cowtow to clients rather than guiding them. VERY stingy with hiring enough people, so some people end up doing the work of 3 people, and some projects don't even have a creative director. The most talented people are spread way too thin. Tendency to hire people without fully vetting them, then making everyone else pay for their mistakes (lost clients = less $ = no raises)

Pros

A small group of smart employees who want to do great work!

Cons

Management style that is consistent with an abusive father. Play in the "boys club" and you will do just fine. Otherwise there is no room for growth. A company that wants to content with the other agencies in the digital space but can't seem to let go of their start up mentality. To retain great talent you must have a competitive package (salary, benefits, time-off and great work). When you are hired you are told you will be doing a specific role, even have that role's title, but the reality is you will wear MANY hats that you will never have to wear outside of TVGla. You do this while earning a non-competitive salary.

I mostly didn't enjoy my time here.

Pros

The opportunity to work on some creative projects for large clients in the entertainment industry. There are some very nice people and creative minds that you are able to learn a lot from.

Cons

Pay wasn't up to industry standard. Very long hours which meant a social life was impossible to attain during the week. No bonuses. Work went mostly thankless. Management tries to pretend the office has a 'fun' atmosphere but there was basically nothing fun about it.
