Pros

- Good Location - Gain Experience - Friendly Team Members

Cons

I was supposed to be employed here as an apprentice with a salary of 13,000 a year, but I ended up having responsibilities greater than any other member of the digital team. They relied on me for everything, yet I was paid the least out of anyone. There was another apprentice before me facing a similar situation, and she left as soon as I joined. She was paid even less (£10,000). She was barely surviving. The fact that we were both 2 (out of 3) of the only non-white (brown) team members and were paid the least in the company and were both being overworked, is not a good look. The management are all old-friends. Some of them went to school together. They all piggy back off of each-other and never disagree with each other. It's quite annoying because it basically means if one manager disagrees with you, all of them do and your opinion is rejected. When I first joined, I was advised by a colleague (very nice girl) to just "do my job and that remember this is only a job" and to not be too ambitious. Her advice was to just do the tasks assigned, have a minimal voice and wait till they need to promote someone. She did exactly that, and is doing well there. There is a lot of nepotism, and they will always hire the CEO's relatives or friends children over you. Clients children too.
