Pros

Looking back its hard to tell if there was any pro Working with Tarjama helped me realize I can do better CEO seems a nice lady if you do not interact so much with her They pay above average in Egypt and Jordan only

Cons

-Toxic place to work in -the pay is not worth the headache and daily stress and chaos -the executive management is a group of boys who try to look good in front of CEO without respecting the standard of work they are brought in to do -fear of voicing opinion because everything is taken personally rather than professionaly - i am even scared to leave hints in my review so they do not ruin my new prospects -expect to work crazy hours and no overtime or compensation or you would be exchanged -bad HR standard (no real HR) -changes everyday. not good change, it is a chaotic change not mature. AVOID!

A toxic culture with an inexperienced leader

Pros

I can't honestly think of any pros except for a few good people that I had the pleasure of getting to know

Cons

The company is a complete mess. C level applies emotional and psychological torture to everybody involved. There is no vision and no strategy. The CEO/COO are perfect for each other, since they are a brother & sister duo, they both excel at poor performance and specialize in lacking experience to lead and grow. Moreover, Tarjama violated several Saudi labor law statutes such as not providing medical insurance and valid residencies to its employees under the excuse of "out papers are pending". Tarjama prides itself as a forward thinking AI company, but it is nothing more than a translation office that outsources all of its translation work at a significantly inflated price. I can't stress enough how terrible this company is and how far away you should stay. The culture is 0, the leadership is terrible, everybody runs around scared of the CEO's emotional instability. Moreover the CEO personally asks employees to cover the negative reviews by forcing them to add positive ones.

Pros

* The patience you develop while working at the company. * The opportunity to learn new things during the first few months of employment. * The company utilizes high-tech solutions. * Although management is not supportive of remote work, there are sometimes opportunities to work remotely. * The office boy is friendly. * Some flexibility at work is offered.

Cons

* My manager engages in excessive micromanagement and pressures me to make questionable decisions within the system, despite my objections. * The management team operates under the assumption that they can do no wrong, leading to a toxic company culture where employees are overworked and burnt out. * There is a lack of work-life balance and no opportunities for career growth. * The company also fails to conduct exit interviews, showing a lack of regard for employee feedback and improvement. * Communication is poor and I was often asked to perform tasks outside of my job description. * The company culture promotes the idea that everyone is replaceable and that management's way is the only way, leading to a lack of respect for employees. * Certain employees who are friends with upper management are given preferential treatment and can be toxic towards other employees. * Salary increases are minimal and do not keep up with inflation, making the salary compared to the market low.
