They used to strive for employee satisfaction. Not true anymore. Horrible pay. Title doesn't match the job description.

Pros

Less of a corporate atmosphere. They have some big events like a rally for busy season and take your dog to work day. The CEO is a good person who genuinely cares about his employees. The company has a great vision.

Cons

The pay is 30%-50% lower than the same position in ANY other company. They get away with this by titling positions a level lower than the job description. No room for advancement. Most management has been in their positions for many years. Warehouse is hot. In achievable goals in all departments. Technology is old compared to other warehouses and software is over 10 years old.

Pros

They have some excellent people and leaders working there. There is a family feel to the environment. The company provides great benefits, training and free lunches. Overall the company cares about it's employees.

Cons

Some of the leaders are not qualified to do their job and the Executives don't do anything about it. They turn a blind eye to mediocrity. Just because you promote someone doesn't mean they will step up to the plate and be great at a job...they have to be qualified.

Pros

There was a lot of laughter. Mostly at the expense of the lack of business acumen by mangers and owners, but it was still comical.

Cons

They have a cyclical hiring then laying off people problem. Every year they scale and then have to lay a ton of people of the following year. They do this over and over and over again.
