Cons
Too many mid and low management positions vs. engineers (who do "dirty-work"). In many case, the promotion is based on who pleased the boss most and who stay (or show up as) late in working office.
The promotion process is widely viewed unfair among employees.
I was an engineer with TECH quite some years ago before its merge into Micron. not sure about the current situation, but the then company was definitely a top rated one in the Singapore semicon industry with good culture and decent pay.
