Great people at all levels of the company - joining Techflow is like joining a family and everyone is supportive of each other.
Interesting projects - I have worked at TechFlow for 2 years and get to work on interesting new technology including Angular2
A great culture - coming to work is fun and there are always nights out and something for everyone
Cons
They tried to raise the price of subsidized sodas from 0.25$ to 0.50$ but the developers revolted and the price returned to 0.25$.
Hours never exceed more than 40 hours per week, laid back environment. Good stepping stone.
Cons
Pay is not as it should be. Benefits are what you'd expect from a small govt contractor. Doing government contract work means being at the whim of the agency that contracts the work, meaning the risk of layoffs is always hanging overhead. Don't expect to be working with the latest software dev technologies and languages.

We find out voluntary turnover is right in line with the IT industry average. As a Government contractor we have a role to play and try hard to find employees who understand that role. As the writer admits, our customers may not use the latest technologies, but our developers are not working outrageous hours.
If you don't think the risk of layoffs is always looming, look no further than Microsoft and Qualcomm laying off workers.
But we agree - TechFlow is a laid back environment.
