Pros
It is a small company so there is good chance for corporate visibility. Lower level employees can speak directly with CEO and those in executive management positions. Honestly there is nothing else good about that company.
Cons
I don't know if I have enough words to describe the horrible working environment. They are VERY inflexible when it comes to time off, scheduling etc. -even in extreme weather! The company pays well below industry average. The quality of the computers they build is garbage, as they don't listen to what the customers want. Instead they are intent on building the "latest and greatest gadgets" even if their customers want something simple. Managers and Business Development experts are expected to push products that the customers don't want. Quality assurance is non existent, and when orders are not properly filled the first inclination of senior management is to blame the customer. There are cliques (more so than at other companies) where people who supposedly senior managers run the show without listening to the employees actually doing the work. They are stingy on travel expenses. I understand being frugal but making people take red eye flights to save $100 is a bit excessive, especially when that same employee must show up at the office at 8AM sharp the next morning! Again the work life balance is terrible. There is NO comp time for overtime work. Overall it is one of the worst job experiences I have had.
