Good Company to work for if you're willing to grind out the hours

Pros

Great company to work for with a rich history. They're willing to try new markets and get creative during a down economy.

Cons

No real development or training programs for younger engineers. You basically just have to find one of the old timers that likes you and ride their coat tails to success.

I loved working at Teichert. The folks at the plants were great.

Cons

The company loves to hire former military, even for management positions. Unfortunately I had a boss (former military) who thought he knew a better way to get my job done, even though he had never performed the job. He was a micro-manager and he eventually drove me away.
