Pros
Sonoma-USA is a brand of TekTailor so this review is almost the same as TekTailor's Amazing idea and concept. The Idea to help bring back the textile industry back to the USA is a great concept. On top of that the concept to do it all sustainably is even better. Sonoma County breeds a sustainable culture and the atmosphere at TekTailor is all about sustainable. The place is striving for a B Corp Certification which is a public-good corporation. It gets one extra star for its concept and values.
Cons
HORRIBLE management. The guy leading the ship has no clue of what he is doing. There is no business plan which means that there is no idea of how cost of goods are. That means the company is losing money. Irony of this is he went to business school. Because there is no business plan in action there is no goals to attain, instead it is an every day struggle trying to play catch up. This causes unhealthy stressful environment. Constantly trying to give feedback is like talking to a rock. Ideas are not valued. The only input that counts most of the time is the owner's. This goes against the values of a B Corp business. The work environment is very hierarchical and not a great environment to be in, with micromanaging, lack of incentives and no motivation to even stay.
