      I really enjoy working for Telespazio VEGA

      Pros

      Telespazio VEGA operates in the space and aviation sector, which is a very exciting and manifold industry. Depending on individual's skills and interests, it is possible to get to know different customers (ESOC, EUMETSAT, DLR, DFS etc.) and to work on interesting projects. Personally, I mostly enjoy the close contact to colleagues and the open door policy of management. I feel encouraged to share my ideas and I appreciate the flexibility in terms of working time and tasks. We have also set-up several employees groups such as the internal communication committee and the social club committee in which interested employees can engage and participate.

      Cons

      We continue to grow. Due to number of newly won projects, workload is still high. Business and HR constantly publish new vacancies and it is good to see that corrective measurements are taken. However, it is about time that individual workload decreases.

The next official "Meet the Management" event is already in planning and surely, the next F2F meeting with any member of the Executive Committee will happen either in the corridors of the Europahaus or on customer site soon.       Good to start, but not to stay.

      Pros

      The company has a solid reputation and some good experts. / Job security / Solid bid team / If you're lucky enough to land in a project where there's a team : you can learn a lot from skilled, motivated and motivating persons. / Events: parties, sport initiatives...

      Cons

      No technical training, very limited career opportunity for juniors. Old style of management, huge inertia. The company somehow became the slave of it's mother company : very small margin of decision left to the TPZ-Vega DE from what I could see. Turnover is surging in this company and that's quite sad to see good elements leaving.

      Very few information shared from management especially when related to contract agreement with customer consultancy and work agreement.
