- 2.02 Dec 2023Staffing CoordinatorCurrent Employee, more than 1 year
Pros
12 hour shifts means fewer days a week to work
Cons
If you're non union prepare to be used as a scapegoat for everything. They write you up for everything and are unwilling to work with your availability, so good luck going to school or having kids.
- 1.010 Nov 2023Registered Nurse, BSNCurrent Employee, more than 5 years
Pros
Only reason I have lasted 7+ years is because of the Amazing nurses (those that are left) and the flexible/accommodating work schedule.
Cons
Have lost sooooo many great highly experienced nurses in the last 4 years. These nurses had worked for this surgery center for 10+ years…when I first started most of these nurses had been there for years. Now the place has unfamiliar faces with only a few of us left. Administrator has driven out some of our best people. Her response to everyone as to why people keep leaving is they have “found something closer to home”. Such lies that she probably tells corporate & partners. We can’t retain staff and when we finally hire they leave within months. The administrator who has no medical experience constantly undermines nurse managers with staffing. Even when we have raised concerns with patient safety she simply does not care.

Pros
