Pros

Slightly above average salary ?

Cons

This review reflects my experience after more than 8 months with the company. 1. Typical Day at Work The workload is consistently excessive and often feels unsustainable. On many days, even basic breaks can be difficult due to the volume of tasks. Meetings are frequently scheduled without much notice, including in the evenings—7 PM meetings are considered normal. New tasks and reporting requirements are continuously added, while existing responsibilities remain unchanged. It is common for one person to handle what would typically be distributed across multiple roles. Over time, manpower has been reduced, but expectations have not been adjusted accordingly. The focus is heavily results-driven, with limited attention given to workload balance. 2. What I Learned There are opportunities to learn, especially in handling various reporting formats and adapting under pressure. However, much of this comes from necessity rather than structured development. 3. Management Management is one of the most concerning aspects. Decisions are largely top-down, and local management tends to pass instructions directly to employees without considering feasibility or capacity. Support for employees is limited, and there is a noticeable gap in recognition for actual contributions. In some cases, employees may feel their work is not fully acknowledged. Employee welfare also appears to be a low priority. Basic benefits, such as medical support, are minimal even after extended operations. 4. Workplace Culture The environment is highly demanding and pressure-driven. Long working hours are the norm rather than the exception, with employees often staying until 7–9 PM. Weekend work is not uncommon. Maintaining a healthy work-life balance in this environment is difficult, and over time, this can lead to fatigue and reduced motivation. 5. Hardest Part of the Job The most challenging aspect is the constant increase in workload combined with urgency. Requests are often expected to be completed within very short timeframes, regardless of existing commitments. A lack of clear role boundaries also leads to tasks being shifted between employees, creating confusion and inefficiency. 6. Most Enjoyable Part of the Job Personally, I found very limited aspects of the role to be genuinely enjoyable. 7. Appraisal & Increment Performance evaluations do not always appear to reflect actual effort or output. There are indications that personal relationships may influence outcomes, which can be discouraging for those who consistently perform. This reduces motivation over time, especially for employees who put in extra hours. 8. Leave Policy Public holiday practices are below expectations. Employees may be required to work during major holidays when most companies are closed, which further impacts work-life balance. 9. Hygiene Workplace maintenance and cleanliness require improvement. Facilities such as restrooms are not consistently maintained to a satisfactory standard, likely due to limited resources allocated for upkeep. Conclusion The only clear advantage is a slightly higher salary compared to some alternatives. However, this is outweighed by the workload, long hours, and overall working conditions. Salary payments may also experience delays. This company may suit individuals who are willing to accept sustained high pressure, long hours, and limited support. For those who value fair workload distribution, recognition, and work-life balance, this environment may prove difficult to sustain in the long term.
