The company was built over more than a decade by an incredibly talented and dedicated team. What started as an ambitious project turned into something big — but unfortunately, it’s now run like a cult. Leadership lacks direction and stability. The only investor poured in an enormous amount of money, yet the company keeps shifting its goals, strategy, and structure without warning. One of the owners focuses solely on his personal ambitions in the world of sport, using company resources for self-promotion. Another contributes very little, living comfortably in Los Angeles. The disconnect at the top is alarming. What’s worse is how they treated the core team — the people who actually built the brand. Many of those who poured their hearts into the project were abruptly dismissed, even those who were friends and collaborators from the very beginning. It sent a clear message: loyalty and hard work don’t count for much here. Morale is at an all-time low. The environment has turned hostile and toxic, driven by an ego-centric leader who constantly claims to be the sole reason for any success. It’s demoralizing to see such talent and potential wasted. Teqball once had a unique spirit and amazing people, but today it’s one of the most dysfunctional workplaces I’ve encountered. It’s a textbook case of why blind loyalty to a company is never worth it. At this point, I doubt there’s anyone in the organization who wouldn’t leave if a slightly better offer came along.
