Top management often gives small appreciation to the staffs, while staffs are expected to work overtime, without perks nor compensation. Tasks given are sometimes outside from staff's job desc. Micro-management and unprofessionalism in company culture makes it hard to grow career opportunity.

It's a family business so be reminded that you are not going anywhere regardless of your performance, Technical Developer who write codes days and nights are not appreciated, but Project managers do get bonus when promising ridiculous delivery time and appear as hero for delivery of project, no professionalism in work, again, it's a family business.
