Pros

Strong team culture and supportive leadership. Supervisors are patient and willing to train new employees, especially those new to field work. Good opportunity to gain hands-on experience in industrial projects, with a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork. Work scheduling is relatively flexible, and supervisors are generally understanding when employees request adjustments.

Cons

Shifts can extend to 12 hours, and commuting time may add an additional two hours per day depending on site location. This can make work-life balance challenging during busy project periods. Work can be physically demanding and weather conditions in Fort McMurray can be challenging at times. Schedules may vary depending on project demands.
