Pros

They offer medical, dental, 401k. People who are liked by the boss can go really far. Materials group is great. There is a good chance of working overtime when company is busy. Mostly steady Monday-Friday work. Other employees are friendly.

Cons

Low pay, poor upper management, high-stress, no upward mobility, raises might be skipped entirely, or be only 10-25 cents a year. Company has no plan for when upper management retires. Company has shut-downs during slow months.

Upper management issues. Salary/wage. Expect alot of stress and more for what you bargained for.

Pros

Terrasat is a good entry-level stepping stone for those who want to sharpen their skills before moving up their career to higher levels. A solid work/life balance, Free monthly lunches, average benefits, flexible scheduling (for the corporate-side employees), and the company holiday parties are pretty nice. Teams are collaborative and friendly, but be prepared to work independently for long periods of time.

Cons

Outdated IT and Operations integration infrastructure tools, departments do not like talking about budgets, highly compartmentalized teams, highly questionable ethical practices from Human Resources, a big disconnect between managers and employees, some nepotism, stagnant career growth opportunities, and no long-term business growth. Terrasat has extreme difficulty meeting you at your fair market value-- let alone offer competitive pay.
