Pros

- Good salary - Good benefits - stock options - somewhat good learning experience

Cons

- First and most important (at least to me), feedback, I did not have a good feedback from my manager about my progress or situation in the company. - Communication, I was working in a remote position which means I mostly used to chat on slack with others, I was chocked when I was informed once that some of my coworkers think that I'm aggressive, and that was "mostly" because I don't usually use "Emojis" or because I was direct when I talk to someone? - Onboarding, I also had another issue that is related to Communication with the CTO about working remotely, the CTO was not clear about working from abroad, which caused me a lot of troubles - The company did not send me my correct salary multiple times - I had a real issues due to lack do documentations - Did not really get credits for some ideas I presented

Pros

- People are really nice and there is a good atmosphere - Benefits are pretty decent but don’t expect anything crazy - Food once a week

Cons

- Absolutely terrible onboarding - Lack of training - when they say fast paced environment they mean “ sink or swim” - Overtime is glorified - They keep saying they care about people’s mental health but they actually don’t. - The Ben product is really poor and this reflects by the amount of customers that leave the platform and constantly complaint because of issues I usually don’t leave reviews like this( or reviews at all) but because I had such a bad experience, I really feel I had to this time. The other reviews may be nice ( few of them are fake anyway) but don’t be fooled. There are so many other companies out there, you don’t want to work for Ben.

Pros

Lovely offices. The benefits are good. A really diverse team with some amazing people doing their best. The market feels in need of change and Ben brings a fresh approach.

Cons

Things are really not good, I feel the founders are out of their depth now. So many fires, on top of existing fires, means employees are running around anxious and stressed most of the time which is not good. So many people are worried about the future as the company can't grow when internally things are so chaotic. Recent redundancies have made folks nervous, some teams are vastly inadequate for the work they're meant to cover. The founders are too busy in the weeds on the wrong things, they need to step up and lead Ben out of this, create a plan, build a strategy, and energise the team. They just appear to take each day hand to mouth, get busy in small things meaning they have no time for employees who need them, so much! Lots of things are in need of a total overhaul, there is a massive rebuild needed and I don't know where this will come from. Customers are feeling this as well, they're not happy, too many mistakes are being made. Employees are tired, they want to believe but are losing faith. Some great people have left and others are leaving. This is a testing time for Ben, time will tell if they can get through this. Sadly, I am not convinced they can.

We couldn’t be clearer in our goals and strategy for 2025 and think you’d have really liked the start of this year! Ben exists to change how an entire industry works, with big growth ambitions and that growth comes with challenges sometimes. We think we’ve built the best team in the industry and convinced some of Europe’s best investors to back us - and that gives us the confidence to make it happen!
