Pros

Some of the people who work here are genuinely good people.

Cons

Where should I start? This is the most unprofessional and toxic organization I have ever witnessed. There is no alignment or clear communication on just about anything, which is pretty amazing because the company is so small. Team members are constantly berated by leadership. Everyone is walking on eggshells at all times in fear they will be reprimanded for something they might not even have done. Yelling is very normal here. Clients are constantly firing the agency and there is massive churn. Rather than learn from any mistakes, leadership becomes combative and blames the client saying things like "Forget them". You are told to stop doing all work for clients if there is any belief that they will not renew their contracts. Because of so much churn, the agency will take on just about any client, even if they are a bad fit, and sell them on things that could not be delivered. I always felt that the clients were being conned. Say whatever it takes to close the deal and then not deliver or provide real value. People are hired and fired randomly. I witnessed somebody being hired after a single 30 minute meeting and then fired within two weeks after being given zero direction or opportunity to be successful. Other people will just randomly show up in meetings without any announcement of who they are or what they do, then disappear without any explanation. There are all sorts of "secret" projects where you may learn that somebody else is working on the exact same thing as another but with zero visibility. This is driven by a deep level of mistrust and paranoia from leadership. You are never given the tools or support needed to successfully execute anything because leadership does not want to lose control. Taking time off is virtually not allowed. Leadership even expects you to work on holidays.

Pros

The CEO is very knowledgeable. Remote team.

Cons

Oh where to start! I did about six months of hard time with this agency. If I had been smart and looked up past employees on LinkedIn, I would have seen a 2-8 month tenure being the norm. In my short time there, I saw three terminations. And frankly, not all we’re justified. The CEO flies by the seat of his pants and needs to control everything. This may work for Elon Musk as he’s quite intelligent and Tesla is a huge thing, but does not work here. The CEO will often ask for things, then change his mind, or become upset with you for doing something he asked you to do that he decided after you did, he didn’t like. Or, he’ll want something done that ONLY he can approve… but he won’t approve it. It’s all very chaotic and you live in perpetual fear that he’s going to randomly fire you for something you did or didn’t do. It’s all stress and anxiety from day one. Final con: benefits are a joke. They lured me in with 100% paid benefits and then switched it to in excess of $400 a month. I can get that on the health care market on my own… so what’s the point of the FT job then? More so, it goes to show just how little employees are considered or valued. The CEO absolutely seems to think anyone and everyone are replaceable. However, he’s lost a ton of clients… so I’m guessing that’s really not the case.

Pros

I have nothing good to share about working for this company.

Cons

Most unethical company I have ever worked for. Run, don't walk, away from working for this company and working with this company.
