Pros

Accumulating knowledge on Southeast Asia

Cons

- Rude and condescending management style - No company direction or knowledge sharing - Funding and resources of company comes from CEO's father and does not reflect company success - Management expect quality articles but provides only Google as a researching resource. - Extremely high turnover, which means that for months, you will have to produce articles every single day (including weekends). - Work every weekend and CEO expects prompt response to evening/night texts - Proofreading is done by management, however, if mistakes go public it is entirely the writer's fault.

Pros

Management is experienced and no nonsense. Adventurous, constant working on trial and error basis. Have nearly found their footing so would be interesting to join the company if you are up a brand building journey.

Cons

Startups are not for the faint hearted. There is a lot of optimisation and streamlining, ie -teething issues. Unless you are agile, it is difficult to adapt. Work is constant as the team is lean. Business model is built on lean efficiency. Younger ones tend to have drama which is unnecessary.
