This whole place is a joke. Text book example of whats wrong with the work industry. You get holiday pay sure but you’ll probably be working that day anyway. And dont expect to get a raise either. You’re expected to do several other peoples jobs and pf course wont be paid enough for it. All of upper management just sleeps with each other so unless you have a connection to one of them don’t expect to be promoted either. You go home for the weekend worrying about the following Monday and how stressful its going to be. The last few months I worked there I burnt out. My chest and lower back were aching from picking up heavy items and my shoulder blade had a sharp pain, I had very little help, and couldn’t leave to go to lunch unless I had someone cover for me. I started slowing down some the last month or two I was there and my manager chose to talk about me behind my back and try to ask for information from my coworkers. That aside, if you are in kitting expect to be harassed and stared down by the married mechanics. HR doesn’t do anything to stop it. Their resolution is “well it just happens”. They are not here for you.

Never think at any point you are valuable to them. As soon as business slows down a little they will kick you to the curb no matter how dedicated and productive you were for years.
