Pros

Great coworkers at the peer level, beautiful office, and it's a lot of fun to have the opportunity to go outside on a daily basis

Cons

Micro-management is a theme within this organization, as is favoritism. If they like you, you'll have all the support you could want, but if they don't good luck. President is prone to verbal abuse and childish behavior---a problem well-known among the board and staff but somehow nothing ever changes.

Pros

Excellent facilities, great co-workers, rewarding mission. Working for a Park in Manhattan is a great experience, and allows interaction with the outdoors as part of the job

Cons

The president micro-manages all aspects of the organization, leaving very little room for autonomous work; does not treat employees with respect, or acknowledge their efforts

The management / president screams, micromanages, insults, and undermines employees. Very hard place to work, recommend you stay away.
