Pros

The team that I worked with was great.

Cons

Pay was horrible. With the 53 hour work week that was required for management, the math came to $15.23 per hour. My lead line cook made more. Underpayment was a constant issue amongst kitchen staff. Owner was cheap. The kitchen was in a constant state of disrepair. Executive management had a disregard for employee mental health. Health benefits were not offered to non managers.

You make more as a shift leader than an assistant manager

Pros

Okay work environment. Have good times with coworkers

Cons

Rigged hours. Hard to take a day off. Pto is quarterly and not time worked. Expected to pick up the slack of the Manager. Took away smoke breaks when we use to have them. Expects everyone to know everything even though the pay is different on different stations such as an employee on fry having to pick up grill and still get paid the same. Has the "we are a family unless you are in the wrong" attitude. Favoritism at its highest standpoint.
