Pros
Working here is fun at first, the people you work with at the front desks are kind and for the most part hardworking. You make a decent hourly wage and receive discounts on products and services. The location is great, you have a beautiful view of the bay every time you come to work. You also get discounts at the restaurant on site and on hotel rooms. The hours working at the spa are nice for students. You don't have to clock on too early and you're never at work too incredibly late.
Cons
The managers of the spa are terrible. They are passive aggressive and do not know how to follow through with their own over-the-top policies. Instead of hiring new employees due to having to fire bad ones, they keep bad employees who break policies and then enforce new policies for all other employees to follow, lowering team morale a drastic amount. After working here for a while and getting a solid understanding of how the spa works, managers rely on you to do their jobs and put too much pressure on you. They also gossip about employees to their employees, which is not in the slightest bit professional. Whilst gossiping, they tell employees who said what, which is ridiculous. If an employee is confident sharing information with a manager, their name should be protected.
