Pros

Here are the pros. First off as a Driver you have off the weekends that's a plus, and if your a hard worker and do your job you can ask for a additional day off during the week here in there. Company drivers are treated like Owner Operators and I love the feel of that. The trucks are fairly nice if you get a good one. The mileage rate is fair, the benefits are also good. The fleet mangers are there to help you when needed, as long as you keep in good contact and try to build a relationship with him or her.

Cons

Detention pay is very hard to get, sometimes you do sit for hours at a D/C. They tell you that you will get it but you have to stay on top of them. The mileage pay could be alittle a bit more. I have 13yrs exp, and some drivers have 6 months and are making more than me. For the worst problem here at Dart, are the trailers. The trailers are brand new for the most part but the shortage is bad. Sometimes you will spend have a day driving around looking for one, which will eat up your hours. Dart has order alot of new trailers we're just waiting and waiting on them too arrive.

Pros

95% drop and hook, always seem to have good freight. They did try their hardest to get you home when you requested it. If a consignee held you up too long dispatch did what they could to get you movin again, always payed detention. I would put my truck back on with them.

Cons

Some of the snot nosed brats in dispatch have never sat in a truck let alone try to make a living in one, then they try to tell you how to run your truck, but thats only a few and they may be gone by now. When in a lease purchase they give you just enough miles to pay your bills with them but you gotta run way hard to pay your bills at home. Wouldnt recamend a lease/purchase with anyone.

Pros

Benefits, nothing else to speak of

Cons

They have no freight or just mediocre freight very little long haul. When they do have freight there is no trailer to put it in.The dispatch at dart doesn't care about the drivers as they get paid regardless.
