Pros

DT is a fast-paced company that works directly with the Republican party for data, polling, and other services. It has a start-up atmosphere despite being 5+ years old, Fellow co-workers are pleasant and work together to help others. Benefits are great with lots of PTO, fully-paid healthcare.

Cons

Low salaries, disorganized within departments, lack of understanding on value of work. Complete lack of proper HR-specifically an HR that doesn't handle employee issues professionally and provides only basic guidance on benefit options. Difficult to talk with leadership about issues without retaliation. Lack of review process and difficulty growing within organization. Employee-reviews can be months behind and leadership is reluctant to invest in employee training or retention.

Pros

Good foot in the door for jobs in Republican politics. Everyone uses SQL which is a nice resume booster and many coworkers are pleasant to work with. Lots of fun happy hours.

Cons

Out of touch senior staff. One individual in particular on senior staff is sexist towards women of the office. Other members are aware and do nothing about it.
