Pros

Some great colleagues at the team level who try their best in a challenging environment.

Cons

Leadership lacks clear direction and strategic capability, which has had a noticeable impact on overall business performance and morale. There is little to no investment in employees, with limited benefits and no meaningful support structures in place. Career progression opportunities are minimal, making it difficult to see a long-term future within the company. The product offering feels stagnant, with a lack of innovation and creativity, particularly in recent times. Decisions from top level leadership (CEO, Commercial Manager,COO) often seem reactive rather than well thought-out, contributing to ongoing instability. Employee wellbeing does not appear to be a priority, and policies that support staff through important life stages, like paid parental leave, are denied.

Be careful- not all is as it seems

Pros

None- read the negative reviews. Most of the positive reviews are staff who have been asked to write something to bury the negative reviews.

Cons

A recent change to leadership has meant a huge negative change to a once supportive, nurturing and innovative company. Now run by leaders with financial backgrounds all they care about is numbers. You will be a number too. Staff are overworked with little benefits or rewards- and shockingly there is no paid parental leave or support at all. Flexible working arrangements have disappeared. The office environment is very sterile so if you’re looking for a collaborative, social environment this is not the place. Leadership is disorganised and hypocritical- they will ask you to do one thing and then get mad you when you didn’t do the opposite. In venue you will be worked to the bone, constantly critiqued and suggestions for improvement will be a cast aside. A company that is stuck in a deep hole, that’s only getting deeper. With such a vibrant hospitality industry in Sydney there are much better places to work, learn and grow while being supported as an employee and person.
