Great coworkers but the CEO posted my job while I was employed and lied to me when I asked about it
Pros
Good coworkers and unique products.
Cons
Very high turnover and key roles are not backfilled. VERY limited PTO/holidays or other benefits (more on that later). Coworker sent me link and I saw that my job was posted while I was still working there (it wasn't for an additional hire) and I asked the CEO about it. They became very cold, couldn't look me in the eyes and just said it was a mistake and asked multiple times about why I was looking at Indeed or LinkedIn (I didn't, not that it should matter). Less than 3 days after I left the CEO did the same thing to another employee. That employee saw internal notes that their job was going to be posted, asked the CEO about it (CEO denied it), then was locked out of email and fired the next day. I had one review and was rated successful. Never had any talks about performance, etc. They also say they offer ESOP which is partly a reason I took a large pay cut to take that job. They may be working towards one but in my entire tenure it was never an option. As of today they still have active posts listing that as a benefit.
