Not worth it

Pros

They offer a good environment, ready to teach and give people the opportunity to move up.

Cons

Dishonest, when I applied for a 'marketing internship' I expected to get just that. Unfortunately, they have you going door to door in attempts to switch from different tv and internet service providers. They also promise you a dollar amount upon being hired, but this job is 100% commission based also being reliant upon you driving up to an hour away from the office every day. Not worth it.

Cons

Door to door sales Driving to places sometimes 40+ minutes away Compensation for driving usually hard to obtain Sometimes really long hours Best part of the job is actually not doing the job Territory is sometimes sketchy or feels unsafe Generally a lot of people arent happy to see you when you knock on their door

Thank you for your review. We definitely take pride in our fun work environment. We are sorry that some of the areas that you drove to were farther away. The good news is that our client has given us the entire southern half of New Jersey to manage for them. The bad news is that is a lot of area to cover. As you know businesses are everywhere and in order for us to achieve our clients objectives we have to sometimes make some sacrifices and drive a bit farther to visit with those business owners. Also we don't do residential sales. We work strictly with small to medium size businesses in the South Jersey region. Lastly, in our interview process we educate our candidate on what we do and why we do it. We also review details like the daily schedule, compensation, health insurance, gym reimbursements, and additional bonuses. There are commissions involved in what we do so we like to give our candidates averages. Some interviewers will give different averages that coordinate to what they are responsible for on a weekly basis. Hopefully that makes sense and we apologize for the confusion.

Pros

A fun office. That is all.

Cons

So many to list. Long hours 6 days a week, a crappy pay, no set guidelines of the job...literally a pyramid scheme. BEWARE THE FALSE REVIEWS, SEEKING EMPLOYEES

Although we are happy that you feel the office environment and culture is fun we are very sorry to hear that you had a negative overall experience. We would like to clarify a few things: 1. The marketing and sales that we do for our current client requires a 5 day work week not a 6 day work week. Although a 6 day work week is not all that uncommon and many professions work 6 days a week, ours is not one of them. 2. We do offer multiple pay options for our employees and we cover that on our very first day of orientation and training. Our employees have the flexibility of going with a base plus commission option or going the commission route as well. 3 We do have set guidelines of every position within the company and a detailed daily training structure as well. 4. Our interns are encouraged to let us know how they feel about their short experience with our company, whether it be good or bad, therefore that feedback is true and legit. We realize that we aren't perfect and the only way that we can grow and get better as a company is with feedback. We definitely would have covered any of these concerns in person if you felt a certain way. We would love to talk through this with you, and we encourage you to email us to set up a time to meet in person.
