Pros

The staff - NOT the management. The staff are young, fun, bright, and lovely. That is, until they've been at the company for 6 months or so; then their spirits are crushed and they hate everything. The work is interesting. It's a really cool field. You learn a lot, which is awesome. The rest of the pros have nothing to do with the work or the environment. The office space is very nice and it's in a good part of town. There's a good rooftop and access to a nice gym. That's it!

Cons

There are other bureaus out there. They are all better to work at than this one. Especially if you have integrity and prefer to do honest work (while still making money/commission), and you'd rather not work for a man that's a narcissistic sociopath. On that note, the boss is the worst. Some people are not meant to manage anyone, anywhere. That rings true for literally every manager at this company, and especially the big boss. His MO is negative reinforcement. He competes aggressively with his team, talks down to them constantly, has anger issues and generally treats you like garbage, if he can remember your name. He makes what could be a great place to work a total hell- because, as he's said in the past, he doesn't care at all about office culture and workplace happiness. And he's not going anywhere anytime soon, so I suggest you don't bother. Everyone is overworked and underpaid. There is no real HR. I could go on.

Pros

Intelligent, creative colleagues. Cool office building and location, great rooftop patio. The hours are good, 9-5 with little to no expectation of working overtime.

Cons

If you're a creative person, you will be stamped down almost immediately. New ideas are not welcome here. Management is very stuck in their ways, and are cowed by company leadership. Definite rule with an iron fist. Not uncommon to see people get fired for no good reason. Salaries are low, except for the sales team, who are constantly under fire to deliver. Everyone and everything is under intense scrutiny; high levels of micromanagement in every department. No transparency, extreme silo issues, and (this is a bigger issue than it seems) slow and outdated computers for all staff. Almost no one is valued here by company leadership, no matter how good you are at your job or how pleasant you are to work with. No real opportunities for growth, very little flexibility, and no support.

Pros

The chance to meet some cool people.

Cons

Needed to point out that it is pretty obvious who the few positive reviews were posted by. David Lavin? Nice try. The cons far outweigh the pros at this agency. Warning. Look elsewhere for a job.
