Toxic Environment

Pros

Not much here except for the few dedicated employees who put in a tremendous effort despite poor working conditions. At least you get to walk around Princeton for lunch.

Cons

Like most newspapers in america the industry has taken a beating and The Princeton Packet is no exception. Be prepared for low pay, ongoing furloughs, mandatory shutdowns and working understaffed. Planning is an afterthought and you will be switching gears in all directions while trying to get ahead with nowhere to go. Good luck hanging on as life slips you by while you are buried under.

Terrible place to work!

Pros

None. There really isn't anything for me to say here. I mean i guess its a paycheck at best, and that's if you get paid. :P

Cons

This is a terrible place to work. You leave everyday wondering why you exist. The managers treat people terribly and snap at you for no reason. Pay is another problem, its basically non existent. If you were hired under the understanding of what your job duties will be, I promise you that you will end up doing the job of 4 people before too long... Search elsewhere for employment, this place is going down the tubes. Bottom line here is the atmosphere is toxic for human beings to thrive in, and you will become depressed! Get out while you can!
