Pros

Some of the people who work there are nice. That is the only positive thing I can say about this company.

Cons

Please don't believe the 5 star reviews here on glassdoor. The CEO instructs one or more of his employees to write these glowing reviews - what a great company it is to work for, what a positive learning experience it is - ALL LIES. I cannot believe how low they pay their employees considering the kind of work they do. On top of that, they offer ZERO benefits - not even PTO! The CEO DEMANDS that you go be a "rockstar," go above and beyond for this great company, all the while making you feel like you should kiss the ground he wakes on for even hiring you. When he has a temper tantrum his attacks can become so personal and hurtful. Oh and try not to take time off or have any kids for that matter - it is frowned upon because it takes your time away from working for him. This is the most demeaning job I've ever had. There is absolutely no work life balance. The moment the CEO walks through the door everyone slinks to the floor hoping they're not on the hot seat today. Anyway, I'm glad I left because I got a job soon after with double the pay and with benefits.

Pros

Food catered once a week, Friendly co-workers

Cons

I fell for the sales pitch in the interview process agreeing to the low pay. Was told there would be opportunity to advance by the CEO who later I was told "changed his mind" I was told by my manager Thursday would be my last day and that I was welcome to return in possibly January after business normally picks back up from the slow holiday season. I then was messaged Friday and accused of no call no showing to attempt to make me ineligible for unemployment. This all after barely making 90 days and the company having to start paying their share of benefits.

Toxic and Hostile environment

Pros

You will definitely learn about the financial industry from a person who is well educated and experienced in the annuities and stock market. The only other minor pro is they provide lunch once a week.

Cons

The CEO is paranoid, arrogant and lives off of insulting you instead of guiding you on new tasks. The Gossip factor is really bad. No one smiles, their is no job satisfaction only a place to make money and more money for the CEO. The employees who work there allow upper management to yell and degrade you because jobs are hard to find. But, this is the investment business and is well know as a "dog eat dog" type of atmosphere.
