Great work environment, good people, good service provided to customers. You feel like you’re actually being helpful.
Cons
Certain members of the leadership team are terrible at their job. Not good at connecting with employees, crazy expectations, harsh treatment during meetings, unhelpful with feedback.

Good local impact and a diverse portfolio of work within the company. Sigma offers a variety of Geosciences work, soil, groundwater, and vapor sampling with the occasional PFAS sampling. Sigma really offers a great opportunity for any entry level geologist looking for a foot in the door. Geologist who are entry level are exposed to various types of work, report writing, sampling, and learning how to budget.
Cons
There's a bit of the "boys club" vibe, if the upper management like you, you will get more work. If they don't you will not get assigned work. Simply put you have to win over the people in upper management to get a bonus and a raise. Do not expect good training, you will not be train throughly or effectively, and most of it is learning by the seat of your pants. Additionally there is no upward mobility, or various branches of career growth. You are either staff, project, and or senior project level.
