Pros

Good insurance package and employee incentives.

Cons

From the outside, The Sultan Center may appear to be a promising workplace. However, beneath the surface, it conceals a toxic environment that I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy. The root of this pervasive toxicity? A glaringly incompetent management. Under the so-called "leadership" provided by CEO Khadija Oubala and Nicholas Allan, the COO from France, the company has seen a consistent decline. Their collective approach seems hell-bent on dismantling all that once made this establishment great. Khadija, in particular, is perpetually offline, making her seem elusive and distant, thereby leaving employees in the lurch. Nicholas has thankful been asked to leave due to allegations of misconduct and kickbacks. Their political maneuverings only add fuel to an already tense environment. Moreover, decision-making — an essential trait for any leader — appears to be Khadija's Achilles weakness. This apparent indecisiveness hampers not just progress, but fosters an environment rife with uncertainty and distrust. I genuinely hope that future employees do their due diligence before committing

Pros

A significant advantage is that Sultan is a prominent retail company headquartered in Kuwait, establishing itself as a major player in the industry.

Cons

Nicolas Allan often blamed his teammates and struggled to contribute positively to the team's dynamics. Nicolas Allan's conduct was marked by a troubling blend of dishonesty and an outdated skillset, which he attempted to conceal through false claims about his achievements. His approach was more divisive than collaborative, which negatively impacted the company culture. Unfortunately, his French background didn't seem to correlate with his effectiveness in his role as COO. Due to these issues and his detrimental behavior, Nicolas Allan was ultimately terminated. Regrettably, the shareholders identified his concealment of poor performance only after significant damage had been done to the company culture, and the high calibre talent left. It's also unfortunate that the CEO, Khadija Oubala, is not hands-on. In fact, her reluctance to delve into the matters allowed Nicolas Allan to wreak havoc.

Cons

- New companies in the market have achieved better results - High turnover among all level of the company, especially manager level - since 2019 I have witnessed a toxic work culture that is created by primarily by Nicolas Allan - Many employees are leaving the company or thinking of leaving (including me) because of Mr. Allan's toxic behavior
