Thanks for your review. We're glad you've had a good experience and that you value the flexibility, support, and training we offer. We appreciate your honest feedback regarding the last-minute cancellations and job inconsistency. As you rightly pointed out, these challenges are often due to pupil absenteeism and school scheduling, which are outside of our direct control. We understand how frustrating this can be, and we're grateful for tutors like you who navigate these unpredictable aspects of the education sector so professionally. Thank you again for your valuable work and dedication to our mission.

Pros

Absolutely nothing apart from the friendliness of the HR department

Cons

After successfully preparing and going through interview was offered a job as they were “desperate” in February. Took nearly 2 months for recruitment checks to go through (I completed my training within a week) and then at the end when they said I could begin applying for tutoring roles there was absolutely nothing at all to apply for. Felt absolutely conned. I turned down two other tutoring jobs as they said they were crying out for tutors and with my previous teaching experience I would be an asset. Had no work at all, when I eventually quit I received a standard run of the mill email thanking me for my hard work(when I haven’t even done any!)-they clearly don’t communicate within the company and only care about giving work to young university students who they can pay less and have little experience with companies like this so they would never question it. I would avoid, I’ve never been so disappointed after reading rave reviews and thinking I was making a good decision about moving back into teaching with the Tutor Trust. Appalling company and very little communication when I voiced my concerns.
