Pros

- the company provides quality products and services - discount on supplements and services

Cons

- don’t be fooled by the 5 stars! the owner forces employees to leave these reviews! - little to no benefits.. - very low wages - employees will be slowly pushed to work nights and weekends.. those who do not comply will be removed from the company - don’t expect any privacy at this company.. and do not save passwords on your computer or keep your social media logged in! The owner will read your emails.. private Facebook messages and anything else he can get his hands on to weed out “ bad “ people from the company - an “ us vs them “ mentality is a strong focus of the company.. basically all ex employees are bad and evil and if current employees have the nerve to still speak with ex employees that have been fired or humiliated until they quit, expect your emails and Facebook messages are being read to find “ dirt “ on you to use against you - the owner’s primary objectives are power, money, and total control of employees while using and propping up health and wellness like shiny coat of paint.. attempting to hide and cover up the dangerous, manipulative, and ugly foundation the company is built on. - upper management consists of the owners personal friends and relatives , their objective and agenda is mainly to do public relations and ease the passive / aggressive nature of the owner , taking any brunt and trying desperately to make sure the lower level workers remain glazed by the friendly mask the owner wears and the overall facade that is the wellness way. - Managements main objectives are Playcating the owner and sugar coating situations to ensure the CULTure remains intact for lower level employees . They act more as internal public relations and definitely do not have the interests or well being of lower level workers in mind. They will make you believe you are their friend.. only to stab you in the back or discard you when necessary or requested to do so by the owner. There is a lot that goes on beyond the scenes and many masks are worn on a daily basis They are trained very well and most have become spitting images of their leader, or “ doc “ as they like to say... - Personality tests are required as a way to find employees weakness and as a way to reveal how to “handle” and control employees. They are used to simplify and label employees and get you thinking in terms of the personality test so you become defined and a victim of the test... an easy way to control your thinking and use your results and traits against you when need be. - Human Resources is non existent. Any work related issues or concerns brought up would be red flags for management.. relayed to the owner... and you would likely be pushed out the door... for not “growing”. - oh, and if you think the “ cult “ label is a bit extreme, just think about this: - A common statement made at his weekly 2+ hour “ personal growth meetings “ , where he talks in incoherent circles and lectures all staff members about “ the wellness way principles “ is to cut out any and all family members that do not agree with your new found wellness way views.. you are told that the wellness way is your new family and blood relatives mean nothing.... I wish I was joking.... - it’s truly scary a company that provides quality health and wellness information and services can have such dark and disturbing agendas and motives underneath the surface...

Pros

Company offers a great product and their business model is profitable. A laid back, unprofessional, work environment. If you loved high school drama and cliques, this is a great environment for you!

Cons

A company based on facades, hypocritical values, and hidden agendas. The owner openly admits the company is run like a dictatorship, so if you are willing to sit down, shut up, and do exactly what you’re told and have no problem being an obedient follower, this is the company for you! Don’t expect much help from middle “management” either. Their agenda is often to please the owner at all costs, not assisting or helping workers meet their work related needs or listen to their concerns. Expect the exact opposite in many cases as well, with some management actively looking to undermine workers while attempting to take credit for their work. Often by shifting blame and accountability away from themselves and onto others. Be careful who you trust! Don’t be fooled by overly friendly personas! The company preaches about growth while actually demanding conformity and forcing employees to be subservient through scare tactics and cowardly attempts of public humiliation. If you’re ‘chosen’ to be a part of this “family”, be prepared to be low-balled salary wise and don’t fall victim to their shallow promises of quarterly reviews and raises that never actually occur. Expect frequent confusing mixed messages - and things changing on the whim with no real strategy or reason as to why. The owner often lectures how everyone employee is replaceable in attempt scare employees into subserviency. Only to contradict himself moments later saying things like “you are all here because you are the best of the best!” If you’re an independent thinker and value your own self worth - best to look elsewhere for real growth and acceptance! And remember: “If you don’t conform you’re disowned!” “If you don’t follow, you’re not allowed!”

Fake values in an environment of obedience

Pros

concept for health is good

Cons

Owner is all about money & power, not values, not about helping people. They pretend to have values and speak of leadership, which is then followed by threats, harassment, and derogatory comments to keep staff feeling that they can't leave because they are worthless. Loyalty really means to them: be obedience or you will be fired.
