      A real life experience of Dilbert and Office Space wrapped up in one wonderful package. Never a dull moment.

      Pros

      Thermal Structures is a wonderful place to learn many skill sets needed in an office setting. Learn to keep records of every discussion you have with management. As you will need it to justify their decision making skills. Also to be sure you will have a job after said discussion. Learn to work with little or no direction or support from management. Also how to make more informative and insightful decisions than management. Learn how to live a minimalistic way of life. Money is not required to live when working and such a wonderful place. False promises and un-ethical treatment is more than enough to live off of. Learn the great class system that has not been seen since the 18th century. Being over worked, under paid, and feeling sub human has never felt so rewarding.

      Pros

      Incentive pay and hours were good.Environment good for self-motivated people who want to learn all aspects of the business.

      Cons

      Ironically, little organizational structure. Never defined strategy other than 'go sell more'. Management style was motivation through fear of losing your job. No such thing as a performance review system.

      - Micromanaging - Managers with no outside experience - Unorthodox methods - Lack of credibiliy - No follow through of anything - Every person for themself - When incompetent managers are exposed, they go after subordinates - High turn over - Everyone except management is looking to get out - Crude behavior in office that goes unnoticed - HR is a joke - Do not follow any guidelines of their parent company, Heico - No process capability - Incompetentcy in every department
