Pros

This jobs is great for those who want something to consume their every hour.

Cons

If you need a steady income, don't even apply. One week you might earn $2000, but the next you may earn $400. You work from 12 pm to 10 pm most days, 5 days a week, 10-5 on Saturday, and expected to sit in a car for hours each day to be driven to the streets at which you knock from door to door. Aside from selling your time, the job is commission based. You earn for what you sell, the boss makes the same amount on what you sell, and promotion is almost as convulted as the way you sell the products. Advancement here is almost as if they looked at a pyramid scheme, and said, "Well, we can't just copy it." You're treated like a child by someone who isn't but 8 years older than you at most.

Hello. We’re sorry to hear that you have such a negative perception of our business. We pride ourselves on empowering the members of our team and would never mistreat our employees. We are concerned that we didn't deliver on our level of standards but would like to clarify that we are not only commission based as every position we offer has a base salary plus bonuses and our work weeks are on average 40-45 hours, however, it is up to our employees whether they want to work additional hours in order to achieve their goals. We try to be upfront and transparent about the position requirements during the interview process so that all representatives know exactly what the position entails when they accept a role with us. We would love the opportunity to speak to you in more detail. Please reach out to us at info@thresholdmarketinginc.com so we can understand what happened better.

Pros

• Excellent sales classes • Weekly game night • Weekly grill and go • You are provided with everything you need to know about selling • Commission is really great, you really get what you work for

Cons

• Not allowed to take lunch breaks • Little to no bathroom breaks • Walking on concrete for 5-6 hours a day • You're dropped off in a neighborhood • Women are just given pepperspray and expected to walk solo in the field • Anything can happen in the field (E.G. a neighbor claiming you can't solicit in their neighborhood, a dog running out to you, etc.) • No time for a social life • Even though you're supposed to be done with work at 8 PM, most people get home around 10 PM • Team leaders are expected to drive 2-3 people out into the field using their own cars. Threshold Marketing doesn't cover the gas or maintenance • There's a reason little to no women work there

Pros

Before working at Threshold marketing, I was just a regular college student who was looking for a job to help pay my bills. I then went through a very well thought out interview process with great communication from the company and wonderful people. After being hired, I was immediately welcomed with open arms and big smiles from a highly dedicated and hardworking team. The team helped train me and moved me though my program and I quickly advanced through the ranks. While it was not easy and is not for everyone, I had developed many fantastic, life long skills that I will employ in any other workplace from this point on. Thank you to the Threshold team for such a fantastic experience!

Cons

I personally had no issues
